A little about me
I was born in Honolulu and lived all over the US until my dad retired from the USCG and moved us to the Gulf Coast in 1986. I didn’t think I loved the Gulf Coast as much as I do until I moved to Toledo OH for college and a job in marketing. While in Toledo, I discovered that southern coastal living was the only way for me. I met my husband after returning home. We’ve been married for 25 years, have two beautiful kids and two English cream retrievers, Tip & George.
I’ve always loved being creative, however being a stay at home mom didn’t allow me the time for it. As both kids got older, I found the time and in 2020 my daughter and I began making jewelry from seashells we found together. The jewelry making turned into a small business and I was sending pieces to a couple local retailers. My biggest accomplishment was getting my jewelry into the Grand Hotel in Fairhope! Jewelry making has since slowed down by my choice but I still continue to make my favorite pieces and you will always find them here!
I’ve committed more time to painting this year. My husband has been my biggest fan but he also says I can’t keep it all! I like to think my work can appeal to homeowners that like bright, fun and whimsical abstract art. If you have any questions for me, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to hear from you.
